Deputy PM stresses importance of voluntary work in civil defense

SANAA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs Lieutenant General Jalal al-Ruwishan on Sunday stressed the importance of voluntary work in humanitarian activities, especially in the tasks of civil defense.

During a festive activity organized by the Civil Defense Authority in Sanaa, al-Ruwishan indicated to the urgent need to voluntary work in light of the current circumstances and the dangers that the Yemeni people go through every day as a result of the aggression waged by Saudi-led coalition, which deliberately targets civilians and destroys infrastructure.

He praised the role of the leadership and cadres of the civil defense despite the scarcity of possibilities and difficulties facing their work under the conditions of aggression, blockade and economic war.
