FM meets Resident Representative of UNDP
SANAA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf Abdullah, met on Tuesday the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Sanaa, OKI Lotsma.
During the meeting, the officials reviewed the programs and activities implemented by UNDP to address the repercussions of the humanitarian catastrophe, especially in the field of infrastructure which were targeted by the Saudi-led aggression coalition, including the rehabilitation of Hodeidah ports affected by the aggression operations.
The meeting touched on the issue of dealing with the floating oil tank, Safir, in order to avoid any potential environmental disaster.
In the meeting, the Foreign Minister affirmed that the Salvation Government appreciates the efforts made by the United Nations Development Program and works to provide all facilities for the program and its staff.
