Yemen’s Central Bank denies rumors about resuming dealing with illegal currency

SANAA, Jan. 20 (YPA) – The Central Bank of Yemen denied on Monday reports and rumors have been circulated by social media about resuming dealing with the new illegal currency.

An official in the bank confirmed that the bank’s decision to ban the illegal currency has been in force for protecting the Yemeni economy and its national currency from collapse.
