Pro-coalition senior military commander assassinated in Hadramout
HADRAMOUT, Jan. 20 (YPA) – Gunmen assassinated a military commander in the first military region loyal to Saudi-led coalition and one of his companions in the occupied Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, on Monday.
Local sources reported that the gunmen opened fire at Colonel Abdulaziz al-Sufi and his companions as they were passing through Sir area in Hadramout Valley, killing al-Sufi and one of his companions and injuring two of his companions.
The sources added that the first military region sent a military campaign reinforced with medium weapons to the area where the colonel and his companions were attacked, and the campaign clashed with the people of the Sir area, killing one and wounding several others from the area.
