Health Minister urges on community participation for combating epidemics

HODEIDAH, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Minister of Health Taha al-Mutawakil on Sunday stressed on the importance of enhancing community participation to combat diseases and epidemics in Hodeidah province.

Al-Mutawakil affirmed during his meeting with acting Hodeidah governor Mohammed Ayyash Qahim on doubling efforts by the local authority in provide the necessary support and facilities to implement the campaign against the epidemics.

At the meeting, the minister pointed to the need to intensify awareness courses about causes of the spread of dengue and malaria, and how to prevent from diseases.
