FM, WHO official discuss developments of medical air bridge
SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Foreign Minister, Hisham Sharaf, on Wednesday discussed with the Acting Resident Representative of the World Health Organization the latest developments regarding the medical air bridge.
During the meeting, the officials discussed activities of the organization, especially in the field of combating epidemics, whose spread was helped by the aggression and the blockade that created the worst humanitarian catastrophe in the world.
In the meeting, the Foreign Minister stressed the need for the World Health Organization to follow up and develop possible alternatives in the event of any delay.
Sharaf reaffirmed the Foreign Ministry’s keenness to provide all necessary facilities for the work of the World Health Organization and its staff.
