Update: Yemen artillery unit strikes Saudi military sites in Jizan

JIZAN, Jan. 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday launched artillery attacks on Saudi military sites in Jizan region, a military official told Yemen Press agency.

According to the official, the artillery attack, which took place in Mabutha Mountain, leaving dozens of Saudi-hired mercenaries dead and wounded.

Earlier in the day, the Yemeni army forces managed to reply to repel infiltration attempts carried out by mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition mercenaries towards the army’s locations in al-Dayir area, but were foiled.

The official confirmed that dozens of the mercenaries were killed or wounded during their failed attempts to make progress on the ground.
