Hadi’s official: The STC slogans of independence are forged and fake

ADEN, Jan. 4 (YPA) – Abdul Rahim al-Awlaki, an adviser to Hadi’s deputy prime minister, said the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council has no real project to achieve the aspirations of southerners.

Al-Awlaki added that since the establishment of the STC component and taking over in the south, the STC has worked to derail the southern issue and torpedo the agreement of reconciliation and tolerance among southerners.

It also brings them back to the box of bloody regional fighting and conflicts, he said.

Al-Awlaki said that the STC decided to go alone without paying attention to others, to reveal that it does not carry any national project, and that the slogans of independence are forged and fake.

He concluded that the areas controlled by the STC suffer from bullying, looting, burglary, house raids and the opening of secret prisons, stressing that Hadi’s forces could enter the (occupied) Aden if they decide to do so.
