Update: Militia leader of Southern Transitional Council killed in Abyan

SANAA, Jan. 1 (YPA) – A militia leader of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council called Salim bin Kiah al-Kazmi was killed Wednesday morning in al-Mahfad city of Abyan province, a military leader of Islah Party said.

“The Transitional Council mourns the killing of the bandit and the thief Salim bin Kiah al-Kazmi, who was killed this morning by the army heroes in Dhiqa area west of al-Mahfad city in Abyan province,” Major General Salim al-Awlaqi, who is affiliated with Islah Party in Shabwa province, said in a tweet.

Al-Kazmi was famous for cutting road and plundering passers-by in dirty manners that did not discriminate between men and women, al-Awlaqi added.
