Yemen launches nationwide immunization campaign against polio

SANAA, Dec. 23 (YPA) – Yemen’s Health Ministry in cooperation with UNICEF on Monday launched the nationwide immunization campaign against polio in Yemen.

The three-day campaign will target over five million children under five years old across the country.

Earlier in the day, deputy Prime Minister Jalal al-Ruwaishan and Health Minister al-Mutawakil launched the campaign at al-Sabeen hospital in the capital Sanaa.
