Bayda security services seize 46 kg of hashish on passenger bus

BAYDA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Security services of Bayda province on Thursday seized 46 kg of hashish on a mass transit bus coming from Mahra province.

A source at the province security said that the amount of hashish was hidden on a mass transit bus belonging to “Al-Nor” company.

The seizures and the accused were referred to the competent authorities to complete legal proceedings, the source added.

In Bayda province, al-Sawadiya district’s police also seized 2,082 smuggled mobile phones were on board a mini bus, and the seizures were referred to the competent authorities.
