3 members of STC in Shabwa resign

SHABWA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Three leading members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Shabwa province resigned the council’s membership, sources reported on Thursday.

The sources said Sheikh Bakr Nasser Talib, a member of the STC’s General Assembly, the other member Mujawar Fahd al-Talibi and Salem Saleh Mabkhot, a member of the council’s organizing commission in Jardan area, have announced their resignation from their jobs with the STC in Shabwa.

These collective resignations came after an invitation from Shabwa governor in Hadi’s government bin Eido, who welcomed the resignation of the STC’s members and their joining to Hadi’s forces, the sources added.
