Saudi military vehicles head to al-Anad base in Lahj

LAHJ, Dec. 11 (YPA) – A number of Saudi military armored vehicles accompanied by Sudanese mercenary troops were seen en route to al-Anad military base in Lahj province on Wednesday, sources said.

According to the sources, the Saudi military vehicles, including armored, exited from al-Boriqa camp in Aden city and headed towards Lahj province.

The Saudi forces’ control of the al-Anad base comes within the framework of the so-called Riyadh agreement signed on November 5 between the Hadi’s government and the UAE-backed southern transitional council, which gives Saudi forces the right to control the southern provinces.
