Hadi’s minster warns Saudi Arabia of drowning in Aden’s moving sands

ADEN, Dec. 7 (YPA) – The So-called transport minister in Saudi-led coalition-backed government on Friday, called on Saudi Arabia to make its options clear before sinking into the moving sands of Aden.

Saleh al-Jabwani, Hadi’s Transport Minister, said in a tweet that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, “mercenary council” in the occupied province of Aden in southern Yemen, is mobilizing its forces and pushing them to Zinjibar in the occupied province of Abyan.

The STC acts as a state in Aden, which it did not do in the days of the UAE’s existence, he added.

Al-Jabwani wondered about the role of the Saudi army in Aden and why it came if not to support Hadi’s government.
Saudi forces arrived in Aden province at the end of October as part of a recent round-up between the Kingdom and the UAE in the occupied southern provinces.

The move came after Abu Dhabi” withdrew all its weapons and military equipment from Aden, following an agreement by Saudi Arabia to take over the security and military file in Aden.
