Deadly clashes between Saudi-backed militias in Taiz continued

TAIZ, April 25 (YPA) – Fierce clashes broke out between Saudi-backed  “ISLAH Party “militias loyal to the exiled resigned Riyadh-based president Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi, and the other group belonging to the leader Abu Alabbas in Taiz province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The confrontations aimed at controlling the government’s institutions in the city.

Heavy and medium weapons were used in the confrontations including the heavy artillery shelling and tanks to bomb the positions controlled by Abu Abbas and his militias.

The rival militias have turned the city into a ghost town where only murder, death, and terror are dominated.

The streets are blocked and cement barriers spread across the city of Taiz

The civilian casualties are falling one by one of both sides media were not able to know the real number killed, especially on Tuesday.

Media belonging to ISLAH Party Said its troops were able to kill a senior of al-Qaeda leader Abu Khaled al-Sanaani in front of the security administration building during the clashes.
