Saada governor affirms doubling efforts to carry out humanitarian projects in province

SAADA, Nov. 13 (YPA) – Saada Governor Mohammad Jaber Awadh stressed importance of the need to carry out more humanitarian projects in the province.

During his meeting with the Director of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the governor affirmed the projects being implemented by the UNHCR to target the internally displaced people, who destroyed their homes, lost properties and livelihoods in the province due to the Saudi-led aggression.

Awadh expressed the province leadership’s readiness to cooperate with the UNHCR in finding integrated warehouses for emergency cases to face any needs of food and shelter.

He appreciated efforts of UNHCR and its role in providing several projects and services to alleviate the suffering the citizens.
