Spokesman of Ansar Allah: President’s blood will not go in vain

SANAA, April 24 (YPA) – Spokesman of Ansar Allah, Mohammed Abdussalam, said that the blood of the martyred President Saleh Al-Sammad will not go in vain.

“We are making a history for Yemen, in which it will own its sovereignty and decision,” Abdussalam said in a statement on Monday, commenting on the assassination of Al-Sammad.

He noted that the martyred president was known for his bravery and generosity and he did not care to threats of the aggression countries and did not seek to be away from security barriers, but he visited all fronts.

“The Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad represents a model of sacrifice, redemption and heroism,” he said.

“The negative effects of the absence of the martyred president will reflect on the homeland enemies,” the spokesman said.

He confirmed his support to President of the Supreme Political Council, Mehdi Al-Mashat, who was selected by the council as Al-Sammad’s successor.
