Protest rally in Aden demands coalition to reveal fate of detainees

ADEN, Nov. 11 (YPA) – Scores of women on Monday organized a protest rally in to demand the Saudi-UAE coalition to reveal the fate of their sons detained in secret prisoners in Yemen’s city of Aden.

At the rally, the protesters called on the UN organizations to pay attention for disclosing the detainees and checking up their healthy conditions.

The UAE has arrested thousands of civilians in its secret prisons over the past three years, where human rights reports revealed hundreds of detainees were killed after being tortured in the UAE-run jails in south of Yemen.
