Attorney General reveals special privileges to be granted to prosecution staff

SANAA, Nov. 1 (YPA) – The Attorney General Judge Nabil Nasser al-Azzani on Thursday said that the public prosecution staff, judges and administrators, concerned at this stage to embody the State’s anti-corruption orientations, revealing they would get special privileges during the coming period.

At the conclusion of the third workshop for 23 judges from heads of the courts and prosecutors of primary courts in the provinces of Dhamar, Ibb and Bayda on the implementation of the criminal provisions in civil rights and the amounts sentenced to the state, the Attorney General affirmed that these workshops are not a luxury..

“These courses, organized by the Public Prosecution, are not a luxury, they are well thought out plans and based on scientific foundations, with the aim of developing capacities and skills to overcome the challenges faced by the judiciary,” Judge al-Azzani said.

He urged the participants in the courses to enhance their role in applying what they learned on the reality of work to improve judicial performance.

The Attorney General stressed the importance of developing a judicial policy and map that is studied and amended every year in order to meet the requirements of reality and the judiciary needs.
