Al-Bashir’s exit from prison raises fuss in Sudan

KHARTOUM, Oct. 31 (YPA) – The ousted Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir’s exit from Kober prison on Tuesday sparked a major uproar in Sudan and wide reactions, which see it as illegal.

“The Kober prison administration is still managed by a covert network that controls the transition period,” said lawyer al-Moez Hazrah, a leader in the freedom and change force, to the Sudanese newspaper “Change”.

“The ousted was taken to his private doctor at Sudan Eye center, escorted by 17 military prison trucks,” Hazrah added.

He continued: “Despite the crisis of traffic jams in streets and the disappearance of traffic police, a traffic bike of the traffic police moved in front of cars that took the ousted to the Eye Center, although during his rule he was bringing the doctor to his residence.”

Hazrah considered the conduct of the Kober prison administration is contrary to many facts because it refuses to treat the accused in private hospitals.

The lawyer called on the Public Prosecution and the Judiciary to investigate this matter to find out who controls the exit and entry of the defendant Omar al-Bashir to and from the Kober prison.
