Son of Southern Transitional Council’s head in Shabwa kidnapped

SHABWA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – Hadi’s forces and Islah Party’s militia kidnapped son of head of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s branch in Shabwa province, southeast of Yemen, sources reported on Wednesday.

According to sources, gunmen affiliated to Hadi’s forces and Islah militias arrested Hammam Ali Mohsen al-Sulaimani, son of head of the Southern Transitional Council on Tuesday while he was on his way to the city of Ataq, the provincial capital of Shabwa, and took him to an unknown destination.

Hadi’s forces and Islah Party are waging a large-scale campaign of arrests against elements loyal to the transitional council, while the latter’s militia carry out a similar campaign against military leaders loyal to Hadi in Aden and Abyan provinces.
