Horrific “Kyarr” moves towards southern coasts of Yemen
SANAA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Typhoon Kyarr, the second strongest tropical cyclone ever observed in the Arabian Sea, is moving on Tuesday at a speed of six kilometers per hour accompanied by heavy rains around its center, according to meteorological information.
The meteorological information noted that the storm is moving northwest of its current location in the east-central of Arabian Sea, in Yemeni territorial waters, northeast of Socotra archipelago and southeast of coast of Mahra province.
The storm is 960 kilometers away from Socotra Island and 940 kilometers from Ghaydha coast of Mahra, according to the National Meteorology Center.
