National team calls UN to disclose obstructive party to Hodeidah agreement

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Member of the national team in the Coordination and Redeployment Committee in Hodeidah Brigadier Mohammed al-Qadri on Sunday called on the United Nations to disclose the obstructive party to understandings and agreements.

In a statement, al-Qadri revealed that the national team met with Head of the Mission in support of the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) General Abhijit Guha on the UN ship to brief him on the violations of Sweden Agreement by Saudi-led coalition forces.

The national team asked the UN mission chief to oblige the other party to commit to a comprehensive ceasefire in Hodeidah and implement redeployment steps in Phase I and II of the agreement.

Al-Qadri added that the national team called on the United Nations to transfer its work and inspection tasks to the port of Hodeidah and prevent maritime piracy on oil and commercial ships.

The practical steps to exchange all prisoners from both sides on the west coast front were discussed during the meeting with head of the UN mission, according to al-Qadri.
