President al-Mashat praises Defense Ministry’s efforts to build armed forces

SANAA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday praised the efforts exerted by Ministry of Defense to build and qualify the armed forces, which reflected in field through the unique operations that surprised the world.

During his meeting with Minister of Defense Mohammed Nasser al-Atefi, President al-Mashat discussed the achievements of the army and popular committees on the different fronts, and future plans to confront the invaders and their mercenaries.

The President also commended the armed forces’ commitment to the initiative announced in his speech on the eve of the fifth anniversary of September 21 Revolution, despite the enemy violations.

In the meeting, the Minister of Defense confirmed the readiness of the army and popular committees to implement the leadership decisions in peace and war.
