FM warns against coalition’s exploitation of economic paper

SANAA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Sunday warned against Saudi-led coalition’s exploitation of the economic paper with its various components, including preventing the entry of oil derivatives, as this would affect confidence building measures.

During his meeting in Sanaa with Ayman Makki, acting head of the office of the UN special envoy to Yemen, Sharaf confirmed the Yemeni people’s readiness for a just and honorable peace, and at the same time they are ready for withstanding and confronting the aggression.

Sharaf expressed his appreciation to the UN envoy, organizations, agencies and programs and the friendly countries that exerted pressure on the aggression coalition and its mercenaries to allow the entry of a number of ships loaded with oil derivatives to the port of Hodeidah.

In the meeting, Makki confirmed that the UN envoy’s efforts would continue till achieving a political settlement and restoring security and stability in Yemen.
