Al-Mortada reveals new exchange of prisoners on west coast front

SANAA, Oct. 9 (YPA) – Head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs Abdulqader al-Mortada Wednesday evening revealed that five prisoners of the army and popular committees were freed in a new exchange deal in the west coast front, western Yemen.

The exchange operation was carried out through local mediation, al-Mortada said.

Last month, al-Mortada announced that the committee liberated 14 prisoners of the army and popular committees in exchange prisoner deals through local mediation in west coast, Jawf and Bayda fronts.
