YPC spokesman: Coalition continues to detain ships

SANAA, Oct. 5 (YPA) – The spokesman of the Yemeni oil company(YPC)  Amin al-Shabati said that the coalition’s countries’ war on Yemen continues to detain ships loaded with oil materials for the Yemeni people without reasons.

Al-Shabati said in a statement that the siege imposed by the coalition’s countries on Yemen and the prevention of ships from entering the ports increases the magnitude of the humanitarian disaster and the suffering of the Yemeni people.
He warned that the Coalition will continue to seize ships, which will result in a real disaster due to the shortage of existing materials that will be implemented soon and will seriously affect the important service sectors including health, water, electricity, agriculture, industry, cleaning and many other sectors.

Al-Shabati added that all agencies, sectors and institutions of government, private and public should condemn the war against Yemen and detain ships.

He called on on the United Nations to shoulder its responsibilities towards this alliance and to break the silence in a manner that cuts all means of life for all the people.
