Transitional council calls for uprising against Hadi’s forces in Shabwa

SHABWA, Oct. 3 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council on Thursday called for a massive uprising in the occupied Shabwa province to expel the so-called Muslim Brotherhood invasion and terror militias.

The Transitional council confirmed that it would not keep silent on the killing of peaceful demonstrators in the city of Azzan by Islah Party militias, vowing to revenge.

The council noted to the legitimate right of the people of Shabwa province to expel Islah’s militias and the invasion forces coming from Marib province.

Azzan city, the capital of Shabwa, witnessed earlier in the day a peaceful demonstration that was suppressed by Islah gunmen and Hadi’s forces, which resulted in the killing of a citizen, injuring of several demonstrators, and the arrest of dozens.
