Saudi-backed forces arrest 25 passengers in Abyan

ABYAN, Oct. 3 (YPA) -Saudi-backed militias “Islah Party” have arrested 25 passengers on board a mass transit bus in Abyan province on Wednesday, local sources reported.

According to the sources, armed elements of Islah party militias carried out a sorting operation according to the ID card at al-Kalasi point in the coastal city of Shaqra, and arrested 25 citizens  from Radfan, Yafaa and Dhalea, while  on their way from Hadhramaut towards the city of Aden.

The arrest of Hadi’s forces and al-Islah militias for the citizens from Yafa, Rardan and Dhalea, was met with angry reactions from the people of these areas, considering this as regional actions.

Meanwhile, southern transitional militias have carried out arrests and raids on the homes of military and security leaders and activists from Abyan and Shabwah provinces in Aden since August.
