Al-Murtada confirmed that the release of the 350 prisoners will be carried out under the supervision of the United Nations.
He pointed out that the prisoners to be released under the initiative are included in the prisoner statements of the Swedish Convention.
He added that this initiative demonstrates the credibility of the national forces in Sana’a to implement the Swedish Agreement. calling on the other party to take a similar step.
“There are hundreds of bodies on the other side of the scene in the last operation and we coordinated with the Red Cross to retrieve them and we provided all the facilities, but the coalition of aggression refused,” he said.
Al-Murtada indicated that dozens of children prisoners in operation “Victory from God” between the ages of 15 and 16, who were pushed into the fronts by the aggression coalition, against all international laws that prohibit the recruitment of children.
Last Ramadan, the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs submitted an initiative calling on the other party to conduct an initial exchange in which a minimum of 1,000 prisoners from both sides would be released.
However, the Saudi-led aggression had rejected the initiative in an unprecedented disregard for the lives of those fighting in its ranks.
