Parliament welcomes President al-Mashat’s initiative for peace

SANAA, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The Parliament, in its Sunday meeting chaired by Speaker Yahya Ali al-Ra’i, welcomed the initiative launched by President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat to achieve peace.

The parliament stressed the need to exercise long-restraint to achieve the political initiative terms in order to be comprehensible for the world public opinion with all its organizations, bodies and active institutions.

The parliament renewed its support for all efforts to achieve a comprehensive, complete and honorable peace in which there is no surrender.

In this regard, the parliament denounced the recent attacks launched by the US- sponsored aggression coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in Hodeidah province, in clear violation of the agreement.
