PM discusses with Central Bank governor joint efforts to reduce financial challenges

SANAA, Sept. 8 (YPA) – Prime Minister Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtour met on Sunday with the governor of Central Bank Rashid Abu Lathom to discuss the joint efforts to reduce financial and monetary challenges.

During the meeting, Bin Habtour affirmed his government’s keenness to enhance the mutual cooperation with the bank in facing the economic war imposed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition on the Yemeni people.

Meanwhile, the governor stressed on the importance of upgrading and developing the banking sector, which was damaged by the wrong policy adopted by the Saudi-backed mercenaries in Aden.
