Citizens block roads in Aden to protest against water, electricity cuts

ADEN, Sept. 7 (YPA) – Citizens cut off the main road in Algulwah area in the occupied city of Aden in protest against the deterioration of basic services and the complete interruption of water and electricity.

The citizens confirmed that drinking water has not reached the area for months, in addition to the continuous power cuts.

The citizens pointed out that Algulwah area and adjacent areas have been deprived of water since the last month of Sha’ban, due to deliberate negligence by the Water Establishment and not operating all pumps that help to bring water to high places in the Directorate of Tawahi.

The occupied city of Aden is witnessing a total absence of basic services due to the preoccupation of armed forces and entities and factions affiliated to Saudi Arabia and the UAE armed conflicts and fighting among them.
