SANAA, Sept. 4 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutwakil on Wednesday inaugurated in the Central Prison Reformatory in the capital Sanaa the first medical ophthalmology camp.
The six-day camp, which is organized by Mysarah National Foundation for Prisoners Care with participation of specialize medical staff, aims to provide medical services to 470 male and female inmates through the diagnosis of eye patients, surgical operations, and the provision of medicines, medical supplies and glasses.
At the inauguration, Dr. al-Mutawakil emphasized the importance of organizing such medical camps, which rise to the level of charity, as they work to alleviate the pain and suffering of patients.
