Islah party commander killed in clashes in Abyan

ABYAN, Aug. 29 (YPA) – A Saudi-backed Islah party(Muslim Brotherhood)’s commander was killed in clashes in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan overnight, sources said.

Brigadier General Yahya al-Jerbai was targeted in the fierce confrontations with the so-called of Southern Transitional Council’s militias backed by the UAE in Zinjibar district.

According to the sources, Al-Jerbai and three military leaders belonging to Muslim Brotherhood were killed during clashes with the UAE militias in Abyan, Shabwah and Aden provinces during the past days.
