Makbouli stresses the importance of stepping up efforts to develop public revenue

SANAA, April 18 (YPA) – Finance Minister Dr. Hussein Makbouli stressed the importance of stepping up efforts to develop public revenue to enable the State to meet the expenses necessary to continue providing public services.

This came during a meeting was hold in Sana’a brought together Minister of local administration Ali al-Qaysi and the governor of Dhamar province Mohammad Hussein al-Muqdashi with Minister of Finance Hussein Makbouli to discuss aspects related to revenue development and the emergency development requirements in Dhamar province.

Finance Ministry is doing great efforts to provide the possible amount of expenses for the operation of service institutions that contribute to strengthening the steadfastness in the face of Saudi-led aggression, Finance Minister said.

He stressed the ministry‘s readiness to support the efforts of the leadership of Dhamar province and the local authority to develop revenues to activate state institutions and to cover the basic needs for the continuity of institutions in the performance of their tasks.
