Heavy clashes break out in Syria’s Khan Cheikhoun

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – Heavy clashes erupted on Tuesday between the Syrian Arab army and armed factions in east of Khan Cheikhoun city of Syria, according London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The observatory affirmed dozens of two sides were killed and wounded when the armed factions waged an attack against sites of Syria’s army in the city.

On Friday, the Syrian army announced that its forces had retook control over Khan Cheikhoun.
