Powerful explosion rocks Aden City

ADEN, Aug. 27 (YPA) – A powerful explosion on Tuesday morning rocked the southern port city of Aden, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, the explosion took place in the Dar Saad district, and it was heard throughout the district and followed by violent clashes in the al-Kakra roundabout.

It is believed that gunmen from Dar Saad district attacked the UAE-backed security belt forces stationed in the district, one of the sources said.

The sources confirmed that the militants fired an RBG missile targeting the security force, followed by a machine-gun attack.

UAE-backed Security forces exchanged fire with the attackers and were pursued in the neighborhoods and clashes still continuing until the moment of writing this news.

Assassinations and security disorder have been ramping in Aden since United Arab Emirates occupation forces took over the city.
