More than 40 military pickups for UAE-backed elite forces withdraw to Shabwah’s Balhaf

SHABWAH, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Informed sources on Sunday have reported a large military force of the Shabwah Elite forces funded by the UAE occupation force in Yemen have retreated back from the city of Ataq to the district of Balhaf in Shabwah province in southern Yemen.

The sources told Yemen Press Agency that over 40 military pickups carrying loaded with a large number of weapons and recruits belonging to the Shabwah elite forces withdrew from the city of Ataq, heading towards the District of Balhaf, after suffering heavy losses in clashes with al-Islah party militants.

The UAE-backed forces “Shabwah elite ” lost more than 15 positions and military headquarters in Ataq city during the clashes in the past three days.
