NAJRAN, Aug. 20 (YPA) – The Saudi army was inflicted heavy casualties on Tuesday after being attacked by the Yemeni army in Najran border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The operation killed and wounded tens of the Saudi soldiers and hired fighters during the attack in al-Hamad site.
The official said that the Saudi-paid mercenaries felled advancing on the ground despite of ongoing support of the coalition fighter jets.
Earlier in the day, the army launched an attack against the mercenaries sites in Raqabat al-Halq, great losses on the mercenaries.
Meanwhile, the army fired a salvo of Katyusha rockets at groups of the Saudi-hired fighters in Training camp in al-Sawh area in the same province, hitting the target directly, the official added.
