Capital Sanaa witnesses mass celebrations on “Day of Wilayah”

SANAA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – The Capital Sanaa on Monday witnessed mass celebrations in three main squares to commemorate the anniversary of Day of Wilayah (the mandate of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib).

The Participants in the celebrations emphasized that they would follow the imam Ali’s approach and learning lessons from his jihadi biography, courage and heroism in the face of tyrants and oppressors.

On this occasion, the Supreme Political Council’s member Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said that the commemoration of this anniversary confirms the Yemeni historical link with Imam Ali peace be upon him, as same as their link with the Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him and his family.

Al-Houthi praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in confronting the aggression forces with all pride and defiance for more than four years.
