Yemeni army shoots 8 Saudi-led mercenaries in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Sniper units of the Yemeni army on late Friday were able to shoot eight mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the five mercenaries were killed in sniping attacks, which took place in in East and west of Hiran district.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces of the army shelled gatherings of the Saudi-led mercenaries at Nar Mountain of Hardh district, leaving dozens dead and wounded.

On Thursday, Sniper units of the Yemeni army were able to shoot five mercenaries in the southern part of Hiran district. Furthermore, the Yemeni army’s missile force fired Zilzal-1 missile on a camp of Sudanese mercenaries fighting in ranks of Saudi-led coalition in west of Hiran district, killing and injuring dozens of them.
