Missile strikes inflict heavy casualties on Saudi troops, mercenaries in Asir
ASIR, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Friday fired Four “Zilizal-1” missiles at gatherings of Saudi troops and mercenaries in Asir region, as well as repelling an attempt carried out by Saudi-hired mercenaries in the same axis, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the official,the three Zilizal-1 missiles struck the Saudi-led mercenaries’ gatherings in front of Alb crossing, leaving heavy casualties to the enemy’s ranks, while another missile hit another gatherings for the mercenaries in Raboua’a area, killing and injuring several of them.
Furthermore, the official confirmed that army forces managed to thwart an infiltration attempt, from three tracks, carried out by Saudi-led mercenaries towards the army’s positions in front of Alb crossing area. A number of mercenaries were killed and wounded during their foils attack, the official added.
On Thursday, the army forces have fired seven Zilizal-1 missiles at gatherings of Saudi troops and mercenaries in front of Alb crossing, inflicting heavy casualties on their ranks.
