Update: Zilzal-1 hits Sudanese mercenaries camp in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s missile force on Thursday fired Zilzal-1 missile on a camp of Sudanese mercenaries fighting in ranks of Saudi-led coalition in west of Hiran area in Hajjah province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

A number of Sudanese army mercenaries were killed and injured in the missile attack, the official added.

The targeting of a Sudanese army mercenary camp is the second in less than two weeks, and it was preceded by hitting a newly established camp in al-Tina area, west of Hiran, with Zilzal and Katyusha rockets.

On August 2, a missile attack killed 14 Sudanese mercenaries and wounded nine others, according to the Yemeni army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie.

On Thursday, Yemeni army’s artillery shelled gatherings of the coalition troops northeast of Muthallath Ahem, which left dead and wounded in their ranks and flamed fire in their military equipment, while five of the coalition mercenaries were gunned down in sniping operations in southern of Hiran area.
