Al-Missari admits defeat of exiled Hadi’s gov’t forces, holds Saudi Arabia responsible

ADEN, Aug. 11 (YPA) – The so-called Interior Minister of the coalition-backed government, Ahmed Al-Missri has admitted defeat and congratulated the UAE’s victory over the so-called legitimacy forces.

” We admit that we were defeated and we congratulate the Emirates for victory over us, but it will not be the last battle,” Interior Minister of the coalition-backed government said on Sunday.

In a video posted on social media, al-Missari confirmed that over 400 Emirati vehicles participated in recent events in Aden as his forces used their rudimentary weapons.

“Saudi Arabia has been silent for four days,” he said, explaining that what he described as partners “slaughters us from vein to vein.”

Southern Transition Council’s militias welcomed Saudi Arabia’s call for dialogue with the exiled Hadi’s government in Riyadh.

“We welcome the invitation to come to our country, Saudi Arabia,” Deputy of STC Hani Ben Brik said in a tweet on Sunday.

In the context of the speech, al-Missari reiterated his threats to the UAE-backed transition factions that this battle will not be the first or the last.
