Al-Zabaidi returns to Aden to ignite “regional” battles in south

ADEN, Aug.8 (YPA) – Head of the so-called Southern Transitional Council loyal to the UAE Aidroos al-Zabaidi arrived in Aden International Airport on Thursday evening coming from the UAE, southern source said.

According to the same southern sources, al-Zabaidi has returned to command the ongoing battles since early this week in the city of Aden between the Council’s UAE-backed security belt militias and the Saudi-backed Hadi’s Presidential Protection Brigades.

Al-Zabaidi’s return to the front of the events coincides with the disappearance of his deputy in the presidency of the transitional council Hani Bin Burik, who has remained at the forefront of the scene since the rocketry and drone attack on a parade of UAE-backed militants in Aden.
