Public Works Minister orders reopening of roads damaged by floods in Hodeidah, Mahweet

HODEIDAH, Aug. 8 (YPA) – Minister of Public Works and Roads Ghalib Mutlaq on Thursday directed the completion of studies on the implementation of the remaining construction works at Al-Kaden Bridge on Bajel-Al-Kaden-Al-Dhahi road in Hodeidah province as soon as possible.

During his inspection visit to the bridge, Mutlaq get acquainted with the volume of work carried out on the bridge, in which the work was stopped due to the aggression, and listened to an explanation from the engineers about the 120-meter bridge project at a height of 12 meters.

The minister also inspected damages caused by rains and floods to roads in several districts of Hodeidah and Mahweet provinces, directing the General Authority for Roads and Bridges to work to quickly open the closed roads to alleviate the suffering of citizens in those areas.
