Update: Yemen air force targets Saudi Abha, Najran Airports, King Khalid Air Base

SANAA, Aug. 4 (YPA) – The Yemen air force on Monday targeted military sites at Saudi International Airports of Abha and Najran and King Khalid Air Base in Khamis-Mushayt of Asir, Yemen’s army spokesman, Yahya Sarie said in a statement.

The Yemeni air force carried out threw large operations with a number of Qasef- 2K drones, Sarei added.

The first operation targeted coalition drones’ fortifications at Abha airport and disrupted air navigation at the airport.

The second operation targeted important and sensitive military positions in the King Khalid air base in Khamis-Mushayt of Asir and hit its objectives accurately.

The third operation targeted the warplanes’ fortifications and other targets at Abha International Airport, hit its targets with high accuracy and caused the disruption of air navigation at the airport.

Sarie said the operation comes in response to the coalition crimes and continuous air raids
