Update: Army repels large-scale coalition’s attack in Jizan

JIZAN, Aug. 4 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Sunday repelled a large-scale attack of coalition-backed mercenaries in Jizan border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and injured during repelling their attack in the east of Dood mount, added the official.

The militias’ attack lasted for nine hours and the mercenaries were inflicted heavy losses in lives and military equipment without achieving any progress on the ground.
