NAMCHA, WFP agree upon technical arrangements of cooperation agreement

SANAA, Aug. 4 (YPA) – The National Authority for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (NAMCHA) and the World Food Program on Saturday signed in Sanaa an annex of procedural and technical arrangements for the cooperation agreement signed between them.

The agreement aimed to carry out a field survey to choose beneficiaries and register them in a biometric data system according to the agreed arrangements to ensure the benefiting of much number of poorest families from the food and cash assistance programs provided by WFP.

The agreed arrangements also stipulated the transparency and accountability in various processes relating to the registration of beneficiaries and the delivery of assistance to them and facilitating access to the WFP projects.
